In principle, proof of creation is free and does not require registration with a national institute, unlike patents and trademarks.

Unlike traditional dating solutions that are specific to each country (Huissier in France, Notaire in Switzerland, Copyright Office in China and the USA...) Blockchain proof has the advantage of being an "international by design" standard, which can be used without friction anywhere in the world.

BlockchainyourIP integrates seamlessly with your favorite storage space (SharePoint / Azure / CIFS ...). Unlike conventional solutions, your files don't even pass through our servers, and all operations are carried out locally. Only a digital fingerprint of your file is recorded in the blockchain. This does not allow the original file to be reconstructed, and therefore does not lead to any disclosure. This technical feature makes Blockchain proof particularly recommended for the protection of highly sensitive documents, especially business secrets.

For small businesses wishing to delegate the storage of their files, we offer a free encrypted hosting option on our servers based in France.

BlockchainyourIP pools the carbon footprint of the proofs generated through advanced cryptographic processes, as part of an eco-responsible approach. Today, a Blockchain proof generated with BlockchainyourIP consumes 20 W/h per document, the equivalent of an e-mail with an attachment.

The blockchain proof is compatible with any type of document without any format limitation. (Images / Video / 3d file / Computer code ...). However, we recommend that you opt for standard formats to simplify the use of the evidence in the event of litigation, which may take several years to resolve.

The maximum file size supported by BlockchainyourIP is more than sufficient for most applications. The limit per file is between 2GB and 200MB, depending on the hosting solution chosen by the customer.

We chose to develop BlockchainyourIP using only Open Source standards adopted by other players and for other use cases (Microsoft, Philips etc...).

All the evidence generated is therefore verifiable independently of BlockchainyourIP using open source tools and in particular the Blockchain evidence verifier of our partner bailiff Jérôme Legrain.

It is also possible to automate the export of blockchain proofs to the cloud of your choice, to ensure seamless portability.

You retain reader access to your existing Blockchain proofs, but will no longer be able to upload new files.
